Unveiling the Power-Packed LoadPlanning 2.0 Module with a Plethora of Cutting-Edge Features
LimeFlight has always been at the forefront of simplifying the complex world of inflight logistics, and with the launch of LoadPlanning 2.0, we're taking it to the next level. Our commitment to efficiency, user-friendliness, and environmental responsibility is evident in the host of new features and improvements that come with this update.
Here is an overview of the changes:
improvement Upgraded Galley Visualization
Our Loading Area designer has always helped users quickly create visual representations of Plane Layouts. However, the 2D experience was limited and complicated the visualization of complex spaces. Fortunately, we now offer 3D Loading Area visualizations for designing Plane Layouts and creating Loading Modules. The 3D visualization provides a more immersive and realistic environment, enhancing your experience.
new Loading Area Minimap
Not all of us have the luxury of using large computer screens, which can sometimes make it challenging to see the entire Loading Area while creating it, leading to difficulty in orientation. To address this issue, we have added a minimap at the bottom of the Loading Area view. This minimap shows you where you are in the Loading Area and allows you to select the part of the area you want to view. With this feature, even those with modest monitors can quickly orient themselves and maneuver around the Loading Area.
improvement Images in List Views
We understand that finding what you are looking for quickly and efficiently is essential. To address this, we have added images to the LoadPlanning module's list views, making spotting what you need easier. With a picture worth a thousand words, this new feature will significantly improve the efficiency of your search process.
new Triple Loading Positions
Aircraft Loading Areas come in various shapes and sizes, including depth. To accommodate Loading Positions of all types, we have introduced triple-loading positions that can accommodate deeper areas and provide space for three trolleys, containers, or other Components. Now, creating and fully allocating all types of Loading Positions is possible.
new Utilize Component Space
We know that space is a valuable commodity on any aircraft, and it is crucial to make the most of every inch available. Therefore, we have introduced the Component Utilization Indicator, which provides information about the space available in each Component as it is created. This feature allows you to keep track of the space that is still available in each Component, making it easier to manage the available space effectively and efficiently.
improvement Multi Select Drag, Copy, Paste, and Delete
We understand that, at times, you may need to quickly add multiple Units of the same type in a Component, move them around, or delete them. To make this easier, we have introduced a new feature that allows you to select multiple Units within a Component by simply holding down the shift key and clicking on them. This feature makes it effortless for you to move them around, copy them using the Ctrl + C shortcut, paste them with the Ctrl + V shortcut, or delete them using the backspace/delete key. With this new feature, you can quickly fill and adjust your Components, saving you valuable time and effort.
new Environmental Impact Calculation
LimeFlight was established to assist airlines in reducing unnecessary weight, which leads to fuel burning and excessive CO2 emissions. We have created the Environmental Impact Calculator to enable you to see the CO2 impact of each Component and Loading Module. This calculator computes the weight and yearly CO2 impact and indicates the percent difference from the previous Release. As a result, you can better understand how decisions to increase or decrease what is carried on a flight impacts the environment.
new Dynamic Filter Across the Module
The dynamic filter is a popular tool for searching across LimeFlight. The tool has been added to the ItemBundle, Units, Components, Loading Modules, and Loading Products. With the dynamic filter, finding the information you are looking for is faster, easier, and more efficient.
new Loading Area Utilization Indicator
Creating a Loading Module is an important task, especially when you must add Components to individual Loading Areas while keeping an eye on the big picture. We have introduced the Loading Area Utilization Indicator to make this process easier. This feature allows you to see the aircraft's utilization level of Loading Areas. You can quickly identify which areas have enough space and which are running out. This way, you can manage the Loading Module more efficiently and effectively.
improvement Drag and Drop Localities
We know that sometimes you drop a component in the wrong loading location or just want to see what it looks like elsewhere. That's why we've now created the ability to drag and drop a component from one location to another to put the right component in the right place.
new Loading Restrictions
Not all Loading Positions are identical, and some may have certain restrictions for various reasons. To address this issue, we have introduced the Loading Restrictions feature. This feature allows you to define and apply full and half-sized Component configurations to different Loading Positions, ensuring no restrictions are violated.
new Loading Indicators
Keeping track of the maximum weight allowance of all Loading Locality can take time and effort. To ease this, we have introduced Loading Indicators when creating Loading Modules. These indicators display green when a Loading Locality is within its weight limit and red when it exceeds the limit. With this feature, you no longer need to remember the maximum weight limit of each Locality while assigning Components, thus simplifying and expediting the creation of Loading Modules.
new Easily Switch Loading Areas
When creating a Loading Module or Product, selecting the correct Loading Area can feel like a game of memory. Since nobody can be expected to have a perfect memory, we have included the Plane Layout for the Loading Modules and Loading Products. Now, all you need to do is remember the location of the desired Loading Area and click on it to access it easily.
new Comments in Loading Localities
Have you ever needed to communicate important information about a Component to an uplifter, such as instructions to leave loose items on the galley floor? We have now made it possible to define a comment for each Locality, which will be displayed in the Loading Area view. This feature enables efficient communication and helps ensure that essential instructions are communicated.
new View Component Descriptions
Component descriptions help share relevant information with assemblers and uplifters. However, accessing this information when creating Loading Modules is also essential. To facilitate this, we added an icon to Components with descriptions when creating Loading Modules. This update lets you view the description from the Loading Module feature, so you no longer need to switch screens to determine which description pertains to each Component.
new Visualize Overlapping Position
Understanding how Loading Modules overwrite others while creating a Loading Product was a challenge. To make it more transparent, we've added a highlighting feature that shows how prioritizing one Loading Module over another affects the Loading Positions. When you select a Loading Module, the Components of the Module are visualized instantly, and overwritten Loading Localities are opaque, making it easy to see which positions are overwritten. This improvement has made creating Loading Products more efficient.
new Deletable Modules
We understand that Loading Modules can become obsolete despite being created with utmost care. That's why we have introduced a new feature that allows you to remove any Loading Modules that are no longer required and will not be needed in the future. This way, you can keep your list of Loading Modules clean and free from any unnecessary clutter.
new Group Units in Etat Lists
Etat lists can sometimes become lengthy and unwieldy, especially if the same Unit is repeated within a Component. We have introduced a new feature - the "Group Units" button - to address this issue in the Etat list options. This ensures that the descriptions of Etat list Components are more concise, providing a more straightforward overview of the Units that need to be assembled in a Component.
improvement Speed Improvements
We understand the significance of having a seamless process, from creating plane layouts to Loading Products and retrieving essential flight information. Therefore, in the newly released LoadPlanning module, we have ensured that it is faster and requires fewer clicks to achieve the same outcomes. This update helps you, your team, and service providers create and quickly retrieve information in LimeFlight.
