One‑Click Flight Order PDF Export

LimeFlight already provides airlines with a real‑time, always-up-to-date view of every Flight Order, but there are times when teams still need a clean, shareable snapshot for coordination or for external partners. To support this, we’ve introduced a new one‑click PDF Export, allowing users to generate a PDF of a Flight Order instantly. This change makes it effortless for airlines to share the exact information they see in LimeFlight, improving communication, reducing manual work, and making everyday operations smoother for everyone involved.

Flight Orders, Now Easier to Navigate

We know not everyone wants to scroll through every single Flight Order just to find the one they need. So we’ve cleaned things up. Open Orders and In Review Orders now sit in their own tabs, following the natural flow of the OrderManagement module: Open → In Review → Closed → Purchase Orders.

Each tab shows only what’s relevant for that stage, meaning fewer filters, fewer clicks, and no more digging through information that isn’t for you.

The result is a smoother, clearer, faster experience that helps you get to the right Flight Order without any fuss.

Release Notes 15. January 2026

new Pre‑Orders for Regular Meals

Passengers value the ability to choose their meal before they fly. Until now, pre‑ordering has been limited to special meals, but now, passengers can now pre‑order regular meals as well. This enhancement helps ensure your passengers receive the meal they want, reduces catering waste, and improves loading accuracy.

improvement Performance Improvements

We know how busy life is for our users working in the fast‑paced, always‑on environment of the airline industry. That’s why we’ve introduced a series of performance upgrades across LimeFlight with significant speed improvements in the LoadPlanning module and other key areas. These enhancements make workflows smoother, reduce waiting times, and help you get more done with less friction.

new Set a Time for Sub Food Item Version Imports

You have enjoyed the ability to create different versions of Sub Food Items, which makes it possible for LimeFlight to store updated versions of the same item at different points in time. This is helpful for handling price changes, size alterations, or supplier adjustments.

Not every new version begins at midnight, and we understand that real‑world changes do not always happen on a clean calendar boundary. With this update, the Sub Food Item import feature now lets you set not only the date for a version but also the exact time it becomes active. This gives you greater flexibility and more precise control over your version management.

Sub Food Items in One Place

Master Food Items — a key component of every Service Policy — are used across Meal Services. With a growing catalog of Master and Sub Food Items, tracking where they are catered from and updating and organizing this critical data had reduced visibility. So, we’ve introduced a dedicated Sub Food Item table in LimeFlight. This new table gives users a clear, centralized view of all Sub Food Items, along with tools to:

- Easily export or import data

- Edit fields directly

- Assign Sub Food Items to a Master Food Item with ease

This update simplifies and speeds up how you manage the Food Catalog. You now have an efficient, user-friendly way to maintain your Sub Food Items, saving time, reducing errors, and improving operational clarity.

That's why we're excited to introduce expanded duplication options in LimeFlight! You can now easily duplicate Plane Layouts, Service Policies, Meal Services, and Meal Products, allowing you to take what you have and customize it without the hassle of recreating everything from the ground up. Streamlined Flight Information: Enhanced Popover for Easy Update

Keeping up with flight updates can be challenging in a rapidly changing industry. We have revamped the Flight Information Popover to make this easier for users. It is now organized into three sections: Flight Info, Cabin Configuration, and Passengers. Each section provides relevant information, highlights flight updates, and lets you switch between versions to view changes to the flight. This enhancement provides a streamlined overview of essential flight details. Whether you need information about departure times, cabin layout, or passenger counts, everything is now neatly organized and easy to find.

New Flight Dashboard

When users log into LimeFlight, they first encounter the Flight Dashboard. To enhance this experience, we decided to revamp the dashboard to make it more inviting, akin to entering a grand lobby.

The updated Flight Dashboard presents flight information more clearly by incorporating icons where possible, using different colors to distinguish various types of information, and featuring a more visually appealing design. Additionally, we've introduced a new "Updated" column, which indicates when a flight has been updated, prompting users to check the flight information for any changes that may have occurred. With these improvements, you can gain a better overview of the flight information and navigate more easily to find what you are looking for.

Master and Sub Material and Food Items Attachments

Sharing essential information such as plating guides, assembly instructions, and loading images with caterers and flight crews is often necessary. Additionally, having a centralized repository for essential details about a dish or material—including certifications and documents—is crucial.

To simplify this process, we've introduced an attachments feature that allows you to attach media, such as images or files, to Master and Sub Items and Master and Sub Food Items. This enhancement significantly improves your ability to store and share vital information efficiently. Now, you have a single location for all relevant details, making it easy to access and share with others.

Sub Food Item Menu Information

Keeping track of important information can be challenging. When it's not done correctly, incorrect information can be stored, accessed, and shared, leading to issues—especially when dealing with digital and physical menu printers. To avoid this, storing and maintaining information in a single, centralized location is essential. LimeFlight serves as that central hub. With the Sub Item Menu details feature, you can easily store and share information about Chefs, Allergens, Icons, and Languages—all from one platform: LimeFlight.

Sub Material and Food Item Versioning

You are well aware of the constantly changing environment in which airlines operate. Dealing with price fluctuations and other factors related to goods and materials can be incredibly challenging for airlines. This often results in the airline's limited control over the pricing, weight, and other aspects of their products and materials uplifted to their aircraft. To address this, we have introduced Sub Material and Food Item Versioning, allowing airlines to effectively capture all changes in Sub Materials and Food Items. With this feature, airlines can maintain an accurate record of all states of Sub Materials and Food Items, facilitating precise calculations for meal and load orders. As a result, airlines will experience enhanced accuracy and clarity in what is uplifted on their aircraft.
